I'm a broadcast journalist and digital media producer. Over the last five years I've produced 20+ on-air packages, scaled an entertainment news brand to 45K followers and 1M+ impressions, and earned nine Corporate Finance certifications to cover the business side of the stories I tell.
Most journalists can't read a balance sheet. Most finance people can't hold a camera. I do both — and I think that combination is where the future of media is going: journalists who understand the economics of the platforms they publish on, and stories that connect audiences to the numbers behind the headlines.
